Flying Pig Marathon Poster

The Flying Pig Marathon is an annual spring marathon in Cincinnati, Oh. Every year they commission a new artist to create the promotional poster. In 2010, they contacted me to create the art. I wanted to create a typographically based design that showed off the city of Cincinnati. I created the poster title based on the idea of a street map and created icons for the landmarks you would see as you ran the race. Sadly this bad boy never saw the press as it was replaced last minute.
