Manchester changed from college to university in 2012, as part of that change they decided to undergo a brand repositioning that included a strategy, identity, messaging, and visual language overhaul. While working at Ologie I helped lead the team that tackled the project. The identity provides the combination of a spirit mark and a traditional academic mark to help build pride around the new direction. A broader color palette gives the brand more flexibility and a bold new visual language allows beautiful photography to let the actions of Manchester students speak louder than their words.
