Every year the Columbus College of Art & Design puts on one of the premier fashion shows in Ohio. Showcasing the senior fashion designer’s work, the show includes a VIP party and a proper runway show. I was honored to work with CCAD during my time at Ologie to create the show piece for the event, the annual look book. This piece is given away on the night of the show and used as a recruiting tool for the Fashion Design program. The 2011 senior show was all about finding inspiration in past eras of fashion and interpreting it. For the look book we wanted to create something that pushed toward Futurism and the classic notions of the future exemplified in classic films such as Metropolis. I worked with a team of student designers to establish the look and feel and lent a hand for the layout of the book.
